In creating a retreat from the city and a place to gather with friends, this loft was wrapped in the the warm natural tones and earthen textures of wabi-sabi living.

Working with the existing beams the addition of limewash walls and a newly installed fireplace provided an instant wamrnth and antihesis to the typical stark New York loft. This rich patina became a perfect backdrop for the collection of vintage heirlooms and custom funishings that were introdcuced to create a zen-like environment to truly unwind.
