Upon acquiring the storied tennis club, T Bar M, WoodHouse conceived of a new type of social club, beyond tennis. The addition of a new clubhouse, ambitious restaurant program, wellness facilities, a new pool and pool pavilion have been designed to attract a modern membership that value the sport as much as community.

With a nod to the vernacular of Texan shed-architecure, Lake Flato envisaged a collection of new buildings to house the growing interests of members. Social areas are extended to the sprawling terraces via Hocker’s landscape design.

For the interior, the team looked to the 1970s and the heydey of American tennis and members clubs. Incorporating the colors of clay court, abstracted circular ball motifs and strung racquets in seating strings. Furnishings were a mix of custom designs through Stellar Works, Michael Boyd and Luteca with rugs by Gregory Parkinson.
